Come along to Set the SEEN’s writing workshop and make your mark: on the page and in the park!
“Writing Ill Feelings was a process of filling in the gaps – saying what had not or could
not be said before …” Alice Hattrick
Sara and Joey will be taking us through a series of simple writing exercises to help us express the
whirlwind of emotions involved in living with invisible illness. Whether you are affected, a carer, or simply
curious, these exercises, inspired by Alice Hattrick’s Ill Feelings, can help us make our own mark on the
world and find ways to say what hasn’t been said before.
The workshop is suitable for EVERYONE – no writing experience needed! Pens, paper and writing
materials will be available free on the day.
